Selling my 1955 Chevy Belair 2 door hardtop. It is in great condition and has a beautiful custom pearl red paint job with ghost flames. This car is incredibly comfortable to drive with power steering and it’s adjustable air ride shocks with an on-board air compressor and gauges. The car has all brand new carpet, door panels, headliner and seatbelts (not currently mounted in car as they’re not required.) The drivers seat is all electric with 6 different adjustment settings. All of the windows have just been converted to power windows on their own individual switches. It has a brand new pioneer stereo system with 4 new speakers and a 6 disk cd changer in the trunk. The battery has been relocated to the trunk along with a very well built custom fuse panel housing. The bfg tires are all like new (a few years old but almost no mileage on them) and are mounted on nice aluminum rims with real spin on hub covers. It has a 305 SBC engine that sounds amazing with a true dual exhaust system. The engine has some added accessories such as: ported and polished Edelbroke intake, brand new Edelbroke 4 barrel 600 cfm carburetor, brand new aluminum summit racing water pump and a new reusable summit racing air filter. The transmission is a TH350 that gives you the option to drive it in automatic or use the B&M slap shifter to shift through gears manually. Additionally the car has an aluminum radiator, chrome master cylinder and booster, new wheel bearings, new front callipers, new pads & rotors, new rear wheel cylinders, new brake shoes/springs & drums, new park brake cables, new electric fuel pump, new Edelbroke fuel filter, and all new fluids including engine oil, transmission oil, coolant, brake fluid and diff oil. It has many other new parts including dash bezels, sill plates, chrome torque converter cover, aluminum transmission cooler etc.. the list goes on. It is in overall great shape but it is not perfect. There are some rock chips in the front bumper from driving it, one chip in the trunk lid paint, and probably around 5-6 small scratches around the car from general use. The car will come freshly detailed/waxed for the new owner and can come with about $1000 worth of extra parts that are either original or purchased from OEM suppliers such as Danchuck. The reason it’s for sale is because I am moving to a new town where housing prices are significantly more expensive and I wasn’t willing to sell my other classic. I have ownership and sellers package in hand. I am asking $43,000 obo. Cash/bank draft/etransfer only, no trades except I would consider a partial trade for a nice flat bed car hauler trailer around $4000 value.
